Let me take you back to where it all started, summer of 2005 in the middle of July, I, recenly single, just a girl in the fried dough pizza line at a local carnival grabbing a bite to eat before meeting up with some friends... I chatted a bit with the guy behind me as the line was long, I didn't really think much of it - just a casual conversation. Finally got to the front, grabbed my pizza and I was off to chat up the rest of the evening catching up with my girlfriend and to meet her new love....
I stroll over to the picnic area and find my friend who is eager to introduce me to the one that's been stealing all her time away from me. Sitting their with them is another new face who they introduce as 'M' - awesome I'm not the 3rd wheel, hate that. So we're chatting it up, small talk and getting aquainted and over strolls the guy I was chatting with in the pizza line, pulls out the chair and takes a seat next to 'M'. I smile but think to myself I must have just read him wrong.. I could of sworn he was just flirting it up with my in the pizza line. Anyway my girlfriends new love says oh & this is my bestfriend A.... M's bf.... great I'm the single girl with 2 couples .. the 5th wheel.
Fastforward, the next day I get a call from my girlfriend to go riding with her, her bf and M's exbf (hmm hello weird...) after going back and forth I finally agreed to go.. as friends, I wasn't that girl, you know the rebound chick, the one that meets you the night before and steals your bf the next.
I don't know what happened on that ride or the days, weeks or months to follow but let's just say the rest is history! Corny, I know but you really do find the one when you least expect it. Who would of thought a simple pizza would of paved the steps for my future... our future!
